Casa Grande: a little local history
Casa Grande was founded in 1879 when the Southern Pacific Railroad reached the area, and it took its name from the Hohokam great house preserved at Casa Grande Ruins National Monument near Coolidge. The town incorporated in 1915 and grew on cotton, cattle and rail traffic. Its historic downtown still has early-1900s storefronts, and the Francisco Grande Hotel on the west side opened in 1959 as a spring training home for the San Francisco Giants. In recent years, new manufacturing, including the Lucid Motors plant, has brought jobs and new subdivisions to the edges of town.
Flood risk around Casa Grande
Summer storms that build over the Sacaton and Casa Grande mountains can drop heavy rain in a short burst. Flat roofs on the older homes pond water, and clogged scuppers send it through the ceiling. In the outer subdivisions, retention basins fill fast and low corner lots take on runoff.

Housing and plumbing in Casa Grande
The older core near Florence Boulevard and Pinal Avenue has homes with galvanized steel supply lines, cast-iron drains and flat or low-slope roofs. Galvanized pipe rusts from the inside, so leaks often start as a slow drip inside a wall. The newer subdivisions are slab-on-grade with PEX plumbing and garage water heaters, and they now see the same water heater and supply line failures as other homes from the 2000s.

Our water damage services in Casa Grande
In the older homes near downtown, rusted galvanized lines tend to fail behind drywall, which is why we often open walls for burst pipe cleanup there. After big storms we also get calls for ceiling and roof leak damage under flat roofs that held water.

Get Help in My City(833) 937-0179Cost ranges we see
Price comes down to three things: how many square feet got wet, whether the water was clean or contaminated, and what has to be replaced. Ordinary drying jobs run roughly $1,000 to $5,000. Sudden and accidental damage is often covered by homeowners insurance, minus your deductible.

Most homeowners policies cover sudden and accidental water damage, such as a burst supply line or a failed water heater. We photograph the damage, log moisture readings and write an itemized estimate so your adjuster has what they need. No insurance, or a loss below your deductible? We work with self-pay customers too, and you get the price in writing first.

Check Service in My Area(833) 937-0179Knowledge center: water damage in Casa Grande
Do older Casa Grande homes have galvanized pipes?
Many homes built before the 1970s near downtown still have galvanized steel supply lines. They rust from the inside and often leak inside walls. Low pressure or brown water are warning signs.
Do you serve all Casa Grande ZIP codes?
Yes. We serve 85122, 85193 and 85194, from the downtown area to Mission Royale and Villago.
Why does my flat roof leak only during monsoon season?
Flat roofs depend on scuppers and drains. When dust and debris block them, a heavy storm ponds water on the roof until it finds a seam. Clear the scuppers before June.
Can you work with my insurance in Casa Grande?
Yes. We document moisture readings and photos and can work directly with your insurer.
How do I check a contractor's license in Arizona?
Search the company name or license number on the Arizona Registrar of Contractors website at roc.az.gov, and ask for proof of insurance and a written estimate before work starts.

Don't let it sit another night.
Every hour water stays in drywall and flooring, more has to be replaced. One call starts the drying.
